Hwa Rang

About 1600 years ago, King Chin Hung ordered a Buddhist Priest, Won Kwang Bopsa to create a code of ethics, which can be the foundation for an all male group of the Warrior Class. They were known as the Hwarang Knights or "the Flowering Knights", and sometimes known as "the Wandering Knights," as they pilgrimaged across all of Asia, spreading the teachings of Buddha, seeking truth and help others along the way. They were known as the fiercest sect of warriors in Asia, who successfully united the Korean peninsula as one nation for the very first time and defended its boarders from invasion for over a thousand years. The Silla Kingdom, the longest civilization in the history of the World.

Won Kwang Bopsa created the "Hwa Rang O Kae" which we still follow today.
