(Three Generations: Anne Fiser, Jo Kyo Nim Olivia Vaatete, AJ and Amber)

At first, I started the program for my daughter, Amber. As I came along to watch her mature and develop into a young female warrior, I began to see how important it was for her to be at the academy, so she could grow up to be responsible and brave in all her actions. I shortly began training with her and soon after my son, AJ, started. I strongly believe in our "Warrior Spirit" for it has made us stronger together and has also reinforced our commitment as a family. As tough as it can be sometimes, I know life is tougher and not as forgiving, so Hwa Rang Do has given my family the strength, courage, appreciation, and most of all the confidence to be successful with all that we choose to set our minds to. Of course, as a parent the most I want for my children is for them to be strong, successful, kind, always willing, striving, helpful, and always living by higher moral standards. My mom, Anne is now training as well, and being part of this incredible family gives me great peace of mind that we will always conquer all the battles and obstacles that lie ahead. -Olivia Vaatete

Having my daughter, Jo Kyo Nim Olivia Vaatete, being my teacher for Tae Soo Do classes is priceless to me. I learn a lot from her about me, and how strong our relationship has become through the months of challenging my fears, my emotions, my limits and being encouraged by her. Learning how to do a nakbop roll with my 12-year old granddaughter Amber showing me, and clapping for me with her beautiful hands when I do it almost right, is also priceless. As for my grandson AJ telling me my form is great and I look very good, that is definitely pure joy for me. Time flies and I feel very fortunate to have this extra time with them a few days every week. Our bond as a family becomes even stronger. -Anne Fiser
