In April, Instructor Erik Huijsman of the Netherlands taught the students of CIOS (Central Institute Educating Sport-instructors). This is also where Ins. Huijsman graduated from and most of the students will move on to become instructors in sports or many of them move on to law enforcement. The students have also been trained in several other martial arts like Jiujitsu, Judo and boxing. It was the first time that they were exposed to Hwarangdo® and they were all very enthusiastic. Ins. Huijsman taught some Hwarangdo® Law enforcement, join manipulation techniques as well as some special Hwarangdo® kicking combinations. It has opened the eyes of many of the students and we hope that they will continue to train in HRD after they have graduated.
