Nicholas Day has been inducted as the newest member to Team Kwan Chang, bestowing upon him all the benefits and responsibilities of a Staff Member and the highest honor bestowed upon a student for their leadership and exemplification of the Warrior Spirit.

With the wide popularity of the film, "The Last Samurai," our Kumdo classes are filling up. We will be competing with many different weapons with the foundation of bamboo sword fighting. Anyone is welcome to attend. Please ask the Staff for an appointment for more information.

Dr. Mark Cheng, beloved little brother (whobae) of Chief Master Lee has opened a brand new clinic in Santa Monica where our Staff Member, Heather Hyun is interning. He practices Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, and especially Twi-na (Chinese deep acupressure and energy work). He is also a devoted martial artist, ideal for sport related injuries.
